We stayed with Sally and Jason at Casa das Palmeiras for a week and I can't recommend them enough, we had the best holiday in such a long time, they took us to the most amazing places throughout the week which we would never had found on our own and we can't wait to go back again as there is so much more to see (there just isn't enough time!!), every day was fantastic and the accommodation & location are beautiful (just like the pics), they made us feel really welcome, thank you and hopefully see you again soon!! Our stay could not have been better at Casa das Palmeiras, my wife and daughters (4 & 7) yrs enjoyed every minute, during our stay Sally and Jason provided us with great information right from easy directions from the airport, on all the different beaches, and helped us with all our excursions with a great inside knowledge that made it just that bit better, we would not have even known let alone found some of them. The local restaurants are excellent but we mostly enjoyed the cooking at the bnb. I can highly recommend staying with them in their lovely house. Sally and Jason have really done their homework to give anyone a great experience they will never forget that won't leave you bankrupt.

We've stayed at Casa das Palmieras twice and both times the experience was fantastic. Great people, superb hosting, excellent facilities and brilliant cuisine, moreover, outstanding value! Sally and Jason are extremely knowledgeable on the surrounding area. During our stay, we hired mountain bikes from Sally and Jason and took a guided tour to the Obidos Lagoon from Usseira, finishing in the early evening with a picnic and chilled local wine on the beach! We have just stayed a week with Sally and Jason at Casa Das Palmeiras and have enjoyed every minute we spent in their lovely home. Nothing was too much trouble for them in making our stay the best it could be. We arrived at 2 o’clock in the morning, due to a flight delay - “No problem” - We had strange dietary needs - “No problem” - We were unsure what to do each day -“No problem”.....For the whole stay they were full of good suggestions for places to go and things to do and see which coincided with our interests. They were prepared to take us on walks or trips, or equally happy to supply us with maps and directions so we could do our own thing. They recommended places to eat, to enjoy birdwatching, or to watch the sunset over the lagoon. They knew where the best waves were for surfing or bodyboarding, and they lent us their beach umbrellas. They took us for a most interesting local walk and to a local wine festival. Thanks, Sally and Jason; we arrived as strangers, and feel we left as friends, due to your natural warmth and hospitality.
